Horses time

When the horses time to stop my door.
I hesitate always watching them drink
Since it's my blood they quench their thirst.
They turn to face my eye
While recognizing their long lines of weakness
fill me And leave me so tired, so lonely and disappointing
That night invades my eye passing
And suddenly I need to redo
forces me to one day Where would the coupling thirsty
I can still live and drink.

The search for harmony ... in Jules Supervielle

Supervielle The universe is primarily a world of perpetual metamorphosis, where opposites coexist naturally, life, for example, there is present in its intimate relationship to death. The dead and the living meet. The memory is inseparable from oblivion. The material has no more substance than a cloud that fray. Is it different in mind? Similarly, it appears there is neither beginning nor end of the universe, beings and things because everything is transformation, continual metempsychosis. Is there an essence behind appearances or is he just a sensitive universe? Is God immanent or transcendent, creator of the world or simply a witness, existing or non-existent? It seems that all these concepts must be exceeded because otherwise they are in fact interdependent. Supervielle leash at all if these ambiguities hover over its entire universe. And vertigo, often, takes the poet.
In this ever-changing and uncertain world, the observed object is also inseparable from the observer. There no clear boundary between the thinking subject, viewing or listening, and the object of his study. The sea, when one looks at it, is not the sea ... The ego of the poet, meanwhile, is under the influence of the unconscious, which, curiously enough, knows more than his conscience clear. The topic will crack, haunted by an elusive double, and the object he observed, in parallel, always eludes his grasp: it is as empty as it sees the horse in the poem essential entitled "Movement"; something has been seen and be seen, but what? The mystery is total. The poem is built around a white poet refuses to fill.

is why the universe is Supervielle both external and internal: the deep sea, for example, has the same characteristics as the forgetful memory, conversely, the human body is a real landscape. "Dreaming," says the poet in Thinking of a poetic art (births), is to forget the materiality of his body, somehow confuse the inner and outer world. [...] I still dream a little what I see [...]. "This world visited by the Dream to the meaning of the poet is best known universe - approached and respected in his unsurpassable mystery - that the traditional study, which divides the world into categories reductive.

This universe is ultimately highly brothers: an intimate connection is created between the object and man, the poet and the animal, the tree and the floor, the cloud and the earth, the thing and the word , matter and mind ...: A "pansympathie" universal compassion. As if the original vertigo - loss of our usual benchmarks - was a necessary condition for the reconstruction of a real cosmos a world in motion but always consistent and the search for harmony ...

A NEW STAGE FOR THE CREATION OF THE RELEASE OF SILENCE ...

June 10 to June 16, 2008, in residence at Lézarap'Art, Cite des Arts de la Rue in Marseilles, jaw 36 has started a new session Working around his ongoing creation and experimentation : The dispersion of silence.

The dispersion of silence is a show garden, nature, uncultivated countryside. This is a sensitive and poetic stroll through stories and art installations down the themes of memory and childhood from injuries receuillir words in interviews and ironed by the filter of fiction.

A notable change has occurred since the last performances of the work underway in October 2007: The dispersion of silence will take place in broad daylight now. This bias
formatting stage finds its way into a better quality of formal listening, putting in perspective and scope of the word.

Thus, for the first time since the creation process began in September 2006 in Marseille, we had in hand all the stories and words of space taken for each actor. We enjoyed to work, the whole northern part of the Cité des Arts de la Rue (Lézarap'Art behind our host), now a beautiful wasteland, alternating green and no man's land. Thus we have both worked on each of the sockets on the words and movement, spaces between each gaming

Friday, June 13, a dozen residents of the Cité des Arts de la Rue came to participate in this "ballad" might also speak of wandering words and landscapes ...

It was a week dense, rich and beautiful.

A beautiful work looks like Loic, Fabian, Alice, Elodie ... An adventure to follow in spring 2009.

"The fable of the World

A course of reading editions Bertrand Lacoste has just appeared on Jules Supervielle. A study of the poetry collection titled "The Fable of the World", written by Sabine Dewulf ...

Still shivering
Under the Skin of darkness
Every morning I have to redial a man

With all this mixture
In my previous days
And what little I have left
From my days to come.
Here I am whole, I'm going to
the window.
Light of this day, I just
the depths of time, gently

Respects my minutes obscure
Saving a little of what I
night
star inside
And ready to die
Under the rising sun
Who knows only grow.

Symposium 1 and 2 February 2008

SYMPOSIUM JULES SUPERVIELLE

How useful a poetry that would not help us to live? To live fully in the heart of everyday life, in connection with the world around us and within us? Too many are still those who think that poetry is a matter of dreamers or idealists, or even pure explorers of language. Given these beliefs
tenacious work Supervielle itself as a unique testimony of real life - physical or psychological-of a man who sought above all, outside the dogmas of the box, to get in relationship with himself, with others and the universe.
In this spirit, participants of the symposium to be held on Friday 1 and Saturday February 2, 2008, Council Chamber, will seek to clarify what can be useful or necessary in this exceptional work and yet unknown: the meaning of the cosmos, the ratio of the time, the taste of the link, the distinctive poet and the artist in this world, exploring the inner world and the questioning of individual identity.

Kohabar or marriage proposal. In this kingdom of Mithila, is the bride who must submit his proposal of marriage to the boy. This drawing shows the proper religious education of the girl's apparent knowledge of symbols and arcane magic of Tantra. At the center of the picture stands the linga, symbol of male crossing a yoni, symbol of the female sex. All around, round six yonis shows the choices open to everyone. Top, Guachi and right: the masks of the Sun and the Moon. (YV)

The rat is the symbol of the self that enjoys all the pleasures without worrying about the vices or virtues, which are for-perfect-illusions. Snakes are the guardians of linga. I can not end this tribute to Yves Véquaud without highlighting the exceptional work on tribal art and folk art Indian, two other French, Jean-Baptiste Faivre and Frank Andre Jamme. If I do not, unfortunately, nobody else will. What is death Véquaud Yves, I do not know and dare not think? Jean-Baptiste Faivre committed suicide. How's Frank Andre Jamme? Many questions will inevitably return me to my own journey.
My research will he one day be recognized? What will happen my collection ? Would I have the courage or the mental health sufficient to support, in return for such investment (material, intellectual and emotional) indifference? How many times have I asked?
Fortunately, I do not have suicidal temperament, I rage deep in the body and the morbid desire to fight.

Jean-Baptiste Faivre (1951-1984), himself an artist, had a passion for the art of Patuas . He has authored many studies on the art of these painters, storytellers and magicians of West Bengal. Numbers of painted scrolls from the collection Museum of Man and now presented by the Musée du Quai Branly has been collected by Jean-Baptiste Faivre. An exhibition and catalog titled "Aspects of Indian folk art, Jean-Baptiste Faivre and painters Sandals (Musee de l'Hotel-Dieu, Mantes-la-Jolie, 1997) trace its path and has a part of this collection.

Andre Jamme Frank, born in 1947, has since 1981 published a dozen books of poems and fragments. He also published many illustrated prints by contemporary artists (Jaume Plensa, Monique Frydman, Marc Couturier, Olivier Debre, etc..). He has traveled extensively and lived in India since the early 80s and became a specialist arts gross tantric and tribal country. Also a translator, poets Lokenath Bhattacharya, and John Ashbery Udayan Vajpeyi (read more ). Three exhibitions accompanied by publications organized by Agnes B retrace its route Indian: Vyakul (1993). Tantra (1994). Korwa (1997)
