Emancipation Day!


Here is the first event organized by our Organism (M.R.D.H)

We will pay tribute to those who suffered the middle passage, to those who lived as “chattel”
during more than 400 years of slavery, and to those who valiantly fought to abolish
slavery, even in the present time, from the face of the earth.
This Emancipation Day is to stand as a permanent reminder that every human has an
inherent right to life, liberty and equality...
